The Racquet Club of Philadelphia and The Historic Preservation and Education Fund of The Racquet Club of Philadelphia are proud to announce a ribbon cutting ceremony in celebration of the grand opening of three new singles squash courts at The Racquet Club of Philadelphia on Monday, September 12th at 6:00 pm.
The Fund received a pledge from a Racquet Club member to donate funds to build three additional squash courts on the second floor of the Clubhouse. This incredibly generous gift kicked off a new chapter in the Club's history and encourages all of us to contemplate meaningful donations to support the historic preservation of our treasured building. The very existence of 6-court facility naturally elevates knowledge of the Club's historic building among the public and promotes the game of squash within the community at large.
The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 6:00 pm with remarks from the donor, Racquet Club President Ed Seglias, and board members of The Historic Preservation and Education Fund of the Racquet Club of Philadelphia. Following the ceremony, guests are invited to tour the new facility and enjoy exhibition matches by top level players and complimentary hors d'oeuvres.
This event is open to club members, guests, and the greater Philadelphia squash community.
